Aroma Festival 2009

It was a beautiful Sunday today and it was just too damn good outside to laze about in my bed (although I still managed to spend an hour in bed pondering if I should get out and make the most of the day)…

The coffee in the air was refreshing… I haven’t had a coffee in about 3-4 weeks at this stage so I was feeling like bouncing off walls just from the scents in the air.

It looked like a massive turnout this year…

At the International Passenger Terminal, we caught a better glimpse of the action

They even had a Mona Lisa made from a million cups of coffee… Surely they won’t notice if I knick a mocha from there…

Looks like some meat is making it’s return to my face…

As busy as it was, I think there were actually less stands this year… I could recall both sides of the below street being lined with stands last year rather than the single side this year. I think the GFC has munched a lot of the independent coffee joints

At the edge of Circular Quay near the Grand Hyatt… well… you don’t see this everyday!

I was a picky bastard… Didn’t actually find a coffee stall worth lining up 45 minutes for a sip of coffee so we walked to the other side of the Quay to the Guylian Cafe for a $10 Iced Chocolate…

The one and only $10 Mocha

And it’s wifey… the $10 Iced Chocolate

I can’t believe I blew $20 on two drinks… but it was worth it :)

I really hope my surgeon doesn’t stumble on my blog…
