After what seemed like an eternity in hospital, a return to the good life was inevitable as soon as I was released from that depressing prison.
The usual breakfast of coloured jelly and packaged fruit was left in my wake… a visit to XXII was part of my rehabilitation (just don’t let my doctor know about it)
It looks like I lost most of my 9kgs on my head… The jacket I’m wearing below actually fits now (I bought it in Harajuku a few weeks earlier without being able to zip it up - I wasn’t planning on growing (or rather shrinking) into it! - I can now comfortably zip up this jacket with room to house a large chihuahua)

Ee tried something different today… French Toast… we agreed that it was the best french toast we’ve ever had!

Behold this shit (my new favourite phrase… thanks ninjas)… Buttermilk Pancakes… A welcome alternative to the ”Clear Fluid Foods” I’ve been having in hospital (that’s a technical name for hospital sludge) . XXII has changed their menu, they used to have Ricotta Pancakes but they were pretty inconsistent in awesomeness and changed to buttermilk recently (I guess I wasn’t the only one who thought of complaining). This new variant is a winner, the caramelised bananna with fresh strawberries were heaven.

My movement towards healthy eating post hospital isn’t off to a very good start…
