Semi Finals - Benchwarmers 34 - The Essentials 48

So here we were… Somehow we managed to scrape into the semi finals of our debut season.
This feat came with a catch though.. we were matched up with team number 1 (the only undefeated team in the competition) as we ended the season 4th on the ladder.
It was quite clear from the opening tip that [...]

Pecking on Peking Duck

My gall bladder has been warning me that this would be a bad idea all week… With the threat of another gall stone attack from a fatty meal (this would be been my third one this week)… Moderation was the (temporary) prevention measure…
It was hard not jamming this into my gob…
This is the second Peking [...]

Lunch at Newport Arms

Sunday morning… realised I haven’t washed my car in about 2 months so it was time for a bit of spit shine

No new scratches or dents… that’s a good sign (considering I park in areas with high concentrations of Asian drivers)

Swannies over the Westcoast Eagles in a THRILLER!

Ee scored some awesome tickets from work (again) for us to catch this blockbuster… for the past few times we’ve watched the Swans vs Eagles matches… they’ve been CLOSE (separated by a goal or less).

Helena & David’s proper Wedding Dinner

The intimate dinner we had the other evening was merely the entree to the main event. The family were treated to a buffet dinner at Shangri La this evening (there’s something about my family and always ending up at buffet restaurants)

Helena & David’s Marriage Ceremony

Today marks the date that my sister and long time partner finally tie the knot in an intimate family affair.
My neice loves the camera

Benwah’s Bday @ Jazushi - Surry Hills

Tonight was Ben’s bday bash and yet again I was put in front of Japanese food LOL

The theme was all things bikes… seeing as I was 12 years old the last time I actually rode a bike… There was no way in hell I’d turn up in lycra and fluoro gear.

Radio Monotone - Now in my Possession!

After my unsuccessful attempts at locating the Radio Monotone CD from an independant Japanese DJ  when I was in Japan a few weeks ago… I bit the bullet and purchased the bugger online.
After 9 days… my package of goodies arrived in the mail.
In true Japanese fashion… Packaging overkill was in order

Benchwarmers 41 - Rice Rockets 20

Tonight’s game was Polly’s last before she jetted off to work in the Philipines for the next few years… A win was a must
Pregame warmups were chaotic as usual

Pork Rolls > *.*

It must have been about 8 months since my last pork roll hit…
